After many hours, we finally arrived at the dunes. The dunes have been closed to vehicle traffic for many years, and have begun to return to a natural state. Me, Chris, and Alex tried to hike to the top, but only got about halfway before having to turn around.. but we did get a chance to enjoy the great views from the top.. After hiking back down we meet back up with the group, and then we all began the long trail back to camp.

On the way back to Saline hot springs, Chris had another little incident and blew the sidewall on one of his swampers.. It was a long day trip, starting out at 9am, and not returning to camp until after 7pm. Time to soak in the hot springs some more before heading off to sleep for the night..
